How did you do the paint? Just drip it in and then roll the jar around? Where do you get spray adhesive? I'm seriously making the glitter one, it looks like little glowing flecks suspended in some kind of gel!
Hmm. I just got a ton (62, in fact) of jars for $25 off Craigslist. I've seen this sort of thing on Pinterest but maybe I should try this at some point too! Looks pretty and I definitely like being crafty.

I got everything from a craft store like Hobby Lobby. I bought various glow in the dark paint and a small wide fan paint brush. Just dipped the brush in a little and put it between my palms and spun it around. I may try putting it in an electric drill the next time. Start with the lighter colors first. I'd go maybe one or two colors at a time and let them dry. They will run otherwise. I've been doing a little each day when I get home from work. The jars are pretty cheap so if you don't like the way it turns out, start over!
For the glitter one, I bought crystal clear spray adhesive and just put on a very thin layer inside the jar. Just a quick even spray. Then I bought what they called "fairy dust" glitter and poured a little in and shook the jar to get even coverage. Just a thin layer worked best in my opinion. Just be conservative at first, you can always add more. I put on the original top when doing this. Once it's covered, take off the top and pour out the extra glitter. It's done. I may do another and try this "dimond dust" glitter. The finer the glitter the better in my opinion.

Good luck!
I'm trying this as soon as I can. I probably won't try to bring one (even in plastic) since I want to leave as much space as I can for packing things I can't live without. You know, tp, shampoo, ez bake oven, industrial sewing machine, a duck... the usual.
What about this? Has anyone ever used one of these? I was thinking of buying it and using it as a bed under one of our EZ UPs, I really hated waking up before 7 in a hot ass tent. haha
Newegg has a nice headlamp for $15. I've seen these go for cheaper, but this one has a "hands-free" on off switch. and has pretty good reviews. the site says the retail is $106 which I find very very hard to believe, but still a nice lil lamp that will be invaluable come the nighttime. www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=04X-0003-00002&IsVirtualParent=1

I bought mine at DSG as well, and for that price. I set my tent up this weekend and tried these out. They work great! It also comes with a hook so you can hang it as well. I bought two of them and I think they are going to make a huge difference during the weekend. Nice buy ahaynes10.
Just be sure to line up the battery holder and cap correctly when putting batteries in it. There are groves to make sure you are putting it together correctly. I read a bunch of reviews where people had issues with this and therefore couldn't get them to work right. Honestly, I don't know how you could not see this when putting the batteries in but obviously some people had issues. Totally worth the $$$ compared to other battery fans.

I haven't tried mine yet, but thanks for the tip on the batteries! And for the review. Good know it was a wise choice.

Nice double cot for couples. It does have a annoying beam down the middle but you can put camp mats or a queen size air mattress on top for a very bed like experience. Great for us with busted backs and/or like to sleep close to their significant other even when camping.
I got this one for last year and we only used it during Bonnaroo, some of the threading is already starting to pull apart. It's still usable but I don't want to sleep in it thinking it could break apart on me -_-
