Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Good point bizco, we need a name for the new thread. I can always just name it "2009 Roo Clues - The Real Deal" or something, I guess.
I just set Twitter to text me djjdfarmhound's updates. I usually don't bother receiving tweets via text message, but I figured I definitely wanted to make an exception in this case! Thought I'd point this out since a lot of you are signing up for Twitter who didn't previously use it - just in case anyone wants to get texts and didn't know it was possible.
'09 Clues: For Reals Yo ;D
Also I went from not on that posts leader to like halfway(ish) up, so yeah...props to me for having nothing better to do

I've been reading through the pages and staying in the shadows for a few weeks regarding the clues. Sounds like the fun starts tomorrow and I am definitely on board.

Hahaha.
Twitter is sort of a microblog - you post little 140-character snippets. But what makes it useful is that it's fairly mobile - you can post via text message, and you can set it so that you receive other peoples' posts by text message. So it can function as like a mass-text-message thing. Or of course you can just check them on the web, or there are little widgets that you can have running to check them, or whatever. Lots of people have little Twitter badges on their websites where you can see their "Tweets." And djjd has a Twitter now...from what he said, it sounds like he's going to use that to clear up the clues and give us hints and stuff when we're struggling. You don't need a Twitter account to be able to see his Tweets, but it might be handy, and you would need one to be able to get them on your phone or anything.

All of this^^ just blew my mind....can we just call it a website ?

thanks much appreciated.
the only one i can think of:
"ho ho ho...ho" one extra "ho". Not referring to a rapper (wtf??) but maybe an extra gift for xmas...or an extra heady year at bonnaroo. either way you want to look at it.
and i think AC/DC one just means there are two dj's giving us clues...and they each have their own clue(s) for a band. I mean, were supposed to separate the two different dj's and their clues. "djjd", "dj farmhand?"

Phew, I finally got the site under control, with a separate page for all these clues. Now there's a nice blank slate all ready for tomorrow! I'm soooo excited.

I just heard the "involved revolved evolved" clue again, but this time he added something else - I'm pretty sure it was "dissolved", but it could have been "devolved". So maybe a reunion show, if they've dissolved?
Hmm... you little birds... maybe we're getting a return visit from Abigail Washburn and the Sparrow Quartet? I mean, sparrows are little birds, after all. Then again, maybe not, since I'm pretty sure last year's clue for them had something to do with birds as well, and then that might be too much of a give away.
I still refuse to believe that none of the clues he's given us so far refer to actual bands.

^^^Believe it. The split personality referred to himself changing his name from DJJD Farmhand to Farmhound. The "my little chickadee" was referencing twitter specifically, as the name and logo of the site is about birds. Also, DJJD originally posted the "devolved" clue, and did use that particular word.
And not that it has anything to do with it, but Abigail Washburn is actually managed by DJJD, aka Todd Steed. Not to add fuel to your suspicions...
AW MAN! It is bittersweet to know the clues all led to twitter since I go to that site every day! I'm glad to know we are starting fresh though. I have not looked yet, but is the new clues thread up or are we waiting til Friday when we get the new clue?
Also, I just read the last two pages to get the 411 on what was going on. How exactly did the twotter clue get cracked? Who figured out it was twitter?

I think if you just go to DJJD's page you should be able to click on "follow" there and he'll be the only person you follow. I just signed up today, though, so I'm no expert.
