Mine came off sadly earlier than I wanted it to. I was halfasleep one night and the dangly fabric moved across my skin in a way that suggested small eight-legged creature. So after a considerable amount of panic I realized there wasn't a spider in my bed it was just the wristband. It came off immediately.
I met a three time Roo vet this weekend because I was wearing my wristband. I believe in the power of the BonnaBracelet! And I think it makes this cute pic significantly cuter ;D
Sadly, I just removed mine about an hour ago. I decided once it started to get torn up that it would come off. The top is beginning to fray so I decided to save it and not let it get more messed up!

Okay, so I'm still sportin' the band, but it's beginning to get a little worn. I want to take it off so I can add it to the book, but what's the best way to remove it? Am I going to have to cut it or have you all discovered a better way?

I used a wire cutter and it took a few minutes but it worked and was totally worth it because the band didn't get damaged at all!!

We TOTALLY need to all make hemp wrist bands that all have some sort of special characteristic so that when we meet another inforoo-er we can trade them at '09.
I'm still rocking both my Bonnaroo and Rothbury bracelets as you can see in this pic. It was taken this weekend, while backstage interviewing 1/2 of the guitar gods from DRAGONFORCE... Mr. Sam Totman!
The red bracelet was just a bracelet that let us get into some special lounge while at the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival in Philly.

WOAH!^^^ I'm jealous...then again when am I not jealous of all the people you get to interveiw? haha...but for real....Dragonforce....
Just today I was packing up for my move back to MD and I decided to only take the bare essentials....only stuff I use just about everyday,(I usually pack everything I own) well I was packing up my toothbrush and toothpaste and looked over and saw my roo wristband....that immediately got shoved in bag with the other important stuff....I couldn't bear to leave it behind.
I took mine off about 3 weeks ago and removed the little plastic part so it's just a nice band of fabric...now I need to get some snaps or something so I can turn it into a bracelet I can take on and off
Fuzzy... Sam was the man. He's usually REALLY f'd up when he does interviews, but I guess we got him early enough in the day. Very cool guy, and we had a good convo. Dragonforce is amazing. Everyone who's been downing their live show needs to give them another chance...

Mine unfortunately came off today during football practice but some kind person found it on the ground and returned it to me. I was a little heartbroken when it happened and now I have a great sunburn line where the thing was!

[glow=red,2,300]I'm a Philly girl & my whole crew rocks the Philly Folk Fest, so I just had to Bonnaroo represent at FEST this year! I took it off for my granny's funeral & then I put it right back on again. I do'nt know how long it will last, but for now I'm still rocking both my Bonnaroo & FEST wristbands. PEACE![/glow]
^^If I wore a watch I'd do that, I cut mine off finally and made it into a keychain like someone else said which looks pretty cute. I thought I'd miss it but its nice to not have to worry about it when eating, cleaning, or doing pretty much everything. I plan on swinging my keys around a whole lot to show it off as much as I can.
My buddy figured it out while we were still at roo. if You look at the plastic piece theres an outer sleeve and then the solid lil core thats clamped around the fabric. If you can slide the core 1 way and the sleeve the other way it should just pop loose. Oh yeah, I'm jon btw. lurker since sometime after 07 and now haha. first time poster though. Ive been to roo 07 and 08 so far and dont plan on stopping any time soon. But anyways hope my post helped u guys a lil bit PAYCE!!!!
Today was my first day of work serving at a restaurant, and one of the other new waitresses had a Bonnaroo bracelet! I gasped and grabbed her wrist without saying anything like a crazy person, but she said, "Oh my god, you went too?!" And then we pranced around excitedly like puppies. It made me sad that I had taken mine off because who knows if I could be in her place some other time. But nevertheless, it was crazy cool and it made me like my new job tons already! ;D
