if kanye would have started on time and wasn't such an a$$hole he would probably have been on this list. I thought it was a great show and he certainly didn't half ass it for being so early in the morning but i definitely can't bring myself to putting him on my top 3.
i just wish i'd of known how long he was going to take so i could have seen ghostland and talib kweli.
Zappa Plays Zappa Disco Biscuits BSS w/Aimee Mann at the Sonic Stage
I saw Mastodon and moved to the front and waited and hour. I was three heads from the front for Zappa! I could have counted Dweezils nose hairs. (But didn't)

1. My Morning Jacket (one of the best shows I've ever seen) 2. Sigur Ros (breathtaking) 3. Pearl Jam (amazing as usual...Vedder was on fire and in his element. Hilarious this show is the 3rd best...any other Roo it would have been the best by far.)
And it's hilarious I couldn't mention Iron & Wine, Broken Social Scene or The Raconteurs in the top 3 cuz those shows were unbelievable.
I figured out I saw most or all of 17 shows over the weekend, and not a bad one among them. Most were really good and some were absolutely amazing. If I had to pick 3: Back Door Slam (by far the best opening act of the 3 Roo's I've been to) Les Claypool (pig mask and Electric Funeral = awesome) Umphrey's McGee (really good hard rockin' show)

1. Zappa Plays Zappa - Easily the best music ever performed on the farm. Was 1 head back right in front of the Sax/keyboardist..the skit, the setlist, everything sounded great. I really can't reccomend these guys enough.
2. Superjam - Well worth the wait. Was sooo happy all the philistines filed out at the start so I had room to dance. A nice change from last year's packed superjam, and a perfect prequil to Tom Waits' show in Phoenix last night (which was even more amazing). ONE MORE TIME!!!!!!
3. Pearl Jam - I was expecting them to be good. I was not expecting them to be that amazing. A great setlist (esp. Marker, Black and Crazy Mary). Best Watchtower I've seen on the Farm (or anywhere else for that matter).
Hon. mention goes to The Racontours and Solomon Burke and Plant/Krauss. 3.
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it
