This man came up to me just the other day, asked me I'd been born again. I told him, "I didn't think I had." That I had been rejected. But I think, Hell's got all the good bands anyway. And Bonnaroo.
"Love need not be a command nor faith a dictum. I am my own god. We are here to unlearn the teachings of the church, state, and our educational system. We are here to drink beer. We are here to kill war. We are here to laugh at the odds and live our lives so well that Death will tremble to take us." — Charles Bukowski
Mine (right now as I think of them): Raconteurs Ozomatli Death Cab
Ugh, I've re-written that last slot ten times already. SO many memorable ones for me... Charli2na, MMJ, Pearl Jam, Chris Rock, BB King, Vampire Weekend...

1. back door slam.....never heard of them before and very glad i chose to see them 2. zappa plays zappa.........amazing from start to finish 3. torn between the phil and bela shows and the 2 claypool shows
1. METALLICA. - I'm sorry... All the Metallica haters can eat some crow after that performance. (Yeah... I said it. lol) I saw some serious emotion in James Hetfield that night. I don't know about Lars, but James and Kirk Hammett were totally into it.
2. Vampire Weekend - F*CKING AMAZING. We watched most of the set from the photographer's pit.
3. M.I.A. - Not sure if it's REALLY her last performance, but if it was, she went out with a serious bang.... (SOUND THE HORNS!!!)

1. Sigur Ros - as someone yelled out, it was beautiful. 2. Stephen Marley - had a wonderful time sitting in the grass with friends during his set. Got to hear some of my favorite songs by him and his Bob covers were fabulous. 3. Broken Social Scene - first time I've seen them since Voodoo Fest introduced me to them. Loved the setlist and everything about the show, great crowd too
