I'm really pissed that I missed out on music waiting on Kanye....and I don't even like Kanye. But I fell for the hype/buzz around the show. I hate that I missed Talib and Charli because I got swept by the hype.
To Talib/Charli...I want to apoligize. I'll never turn down real music for hyped up bullshit.

this is the exact same thing i did. i left the what stage after the 3:30 announcement and still planned on heading out to see chali 2na since i'm a big J5 fan when his set was supposed to start at 4:45, but i heard him starting from my camp way before he was supposed to and figured i'd just stay put. i also regret not seeing les claypool, not eating gator tail before it was sold out on sunday, not going to the silent disco, and not riding the ferris wheel
I have no regrets at Roo, each decision I make always works out for the best, even standing in the rain for an hour for the Superjam or waiting an extra hour and a half for Kanye. Still, those are memories I will never forget

I have a couple of big regrets.
One is sleeping through B.B. King & Ben Folds. Total bummer.
Another was not trying harder to convince my friends to NOT leave the Walmart parking lot at 3 a.m. to go to Roo... I knew we would be out in super BFE.
And of course.. BFE ensued.
So that was a bummer.. did anyone who camped out there noticed how crummy the wooden walkways were? I know a lot of people who hurt themselves on them, and I busted my @$$ coming back on Friday night during the rain.
*Missing The Raconteurs, Chris Rock and Willie Nelson (it's okay though, the shows in That Tent at that time were great!)
*Also, not getting the emails / IMs / etc. of the awesome friends I made.
*Not getting to hear Ben Folds play "Bitches Ain't Shit" for the last time because I didn't want to lose my spot for Jack Johnson (I assume Ben played near the end of his set, since it's one of his more popular songs... otherwise, there are no regrets about not missing a minute of BB King. And just to clarify, I'm not insinuating in the slightest that Jack Johnson wasn't worth waiting around for; one of my favorite shows all weekend)
*Not checking out more of the comedy tent. I saw Zach Galifianakis on Thursday and he was hilarious!
*Wasting time in the movie tent. I usually only went for 30 minutes at a time though, mostly just to have some shade and a chair to relax in.
*Skipping Ghostland to wait around for Kanye.
*Just wandering around and checking out Centeroo between Ladytron and Plant + Krauss. I neglected to realize that I was missing O.A.R., Yonder Mountain String Band, Aimee Mann, Phil Lesh and more.

agreed!
i wandered away from my friends at tiesto and met the most amazing person while getting Tea, ended up hanging out with her for the rest of the fest and making the most amazing friend. i can't imagine a single thing going better and I'm still in shock at how everything worked out.
I guess if i have to have a regret though, it's that my friend had about $5000 worth of stuff stolen thursday night, from our locked car, and the keys were in the tent about a foot from my head and i didn't wake up when the people took them out. He didn't worry about it while at Roo though, and danced his ass off every night and enjoyed himself as much as anyone could have!

My one and only regret............is leaving My Morning Jacket while they had one song left and missing Zach Galifianakis come out as lil orphan annie. Really upset when I read that lol. All in all......I liked everything I did and wouldn't do much differently. Maybe get a closer spot for MGMT.
Being so tired that I fell asleep through Pearl Jam (yes! I actually did... that's horrible of me). I then went to Sigur Ros and got up front. I had an amazing time, but wanted to see some of the show under the stars. I went outside after the fifth song and fell asleep under the stars. As I enjoyed the show from under the stars, I wish I would have stayed in the front much longer as it was a mind-melting experience from up front.
I wish I would have caught all of MSTRKRFT and more of Metallica (only the last 20 minutes... I slept through that at the tent since I pulled an all-nighter driving to Roo). I also regret not having 3 bodies so that I could have caught Superjam, My Morning Jacket, and Tiesto all at once.
I regret leaving Sigur Ros a little early so I could see all of Kanye's show.... hah.
I regret getting into a fight with my girlfriend so that she went back to the tent upset and missed a once in a lifetime opportunity at seeing Sigur Ros under the stars.
I also regret being so exhausted come Sunday that I did not try to push my way into the crowd for any of the shows. I stayed towards the back for all of the bands that I saw on Sunday (Rogue Wave, Robert Randolph, Yonder Mountain, O.A.R., Death Cab for Cutie, Robert Plant, and Widespread Panic). You really don't remember those shows that you catch while laying under the shade and leaving after 30 minutes. I wish I could have had at least one memorable show on Sunday.

After the rain poured at MMJ for a bit, it got a little too cold for us, so we left (intending to come back for the encore, and to see Disco Biscuits). We ended up staying at our site and missed the Biscuits......we also missed wordless chorus by MMJ, damnitdamnitdamnit

1. Being too screwed up to remember half of what happened. 2. Forgetting to get contact info from most of the people I met. 3. Wearing my brand new Steve Maddens (shoes) in the mud. 4. Leaving 'roo before Plant & Krauss. 5. Not sealing the seams of my tent.
I'm sure if I thought about it long enough, I could come up with some regrets, but we did practically everything we set out to do. Good thing for 4 days a year, I forgo things like sleep!
Regrets: 1) Not taking ANY photos. The BF and I never took the camera out of the glove compartment. Always kept putting it off and then *blink* Bonnaroo's over. Luckily, we ran into another 9/11 Truther and he took our photo and kindly emailed it to us - so we at least have 1 photo. 2) Not making sure BF properly applied his sunscreen. He missed the tops of his feet and ended up getting a nasty blister. 3) Not riding the ferris wheel. 4) Leaving my straw hat out in the rain storm, making it lose its shape. 5) Getting so turned on by the Jack Johnson set that we ended up running back to our tent and missing most of Pearl Jam.
Going to Kanya...that was a mistake. And then sleeping through MMJ and tiesto. I could hear MMJ in my dream cause we were camped so close and i remember thinking, man that sounds good.
I regret going back to my tent and sleeping the first couple nights. I missed a bit of partying and music. On Friday, I missed seeing the sun rise with the Disco Biscuits or MMJ. On Saturday, I was too burnt to enjoy Phil Lesh or to taunt Kanye West.
In addition, I was so concerned with the music and socializing that I didn't get to walk around and just enjoy the various other sights until Spunday. Such n Such would've been nice to see. I've wanted to bull ride for a while. It didn't happen. Next year!!
On saturday night I took half of a piece of paper, and then said oh heck take the other half and I regret that. I was just a mess and missed Sigur and MMJ and was up like until 7 am and was just a mess.....I will not be doing any paper for along time again
I was too tired and needed a break during Solomon Burke, which I was unhappy about. But other than that, I think I saw everything I intended to and then some.

After seeing all of My Morning Jackets set on the rail, it kind of washed away anything i may have missed out on. Some things i did do this year. Rode the Ferris Wheel first thing Thursday Ate 6 Grilled Cheese sandwiches which are the BEST thing ever at 5 in the morning Found shakedown Sunday night and bought bootleg shirts Went in the Fountain Got 4 shirts total and the MMJ Poster Gave Jim James a hi5 after the MMJ set Took pictures and videos of everything Set up an awesome campsite and didnt forget any supplies. Flew my kite really high, but almost closelined a cab when the line came down Wore my jason mask on Friday the 13th Stayed up until sunrise because of Kanye Saw The Coup on the Solar Stage
The few things i regret: Leaving Pearl Jam after Black to go see The Coup. I missed about an hour of one of the best concerts ever. Leaving Sigur Ros early to see Kanye, then waiting and missing Talib, Ghostland and Chali w Galactic. I did see Kanye at least. I saw M.I.A.s set and it was bumping but missed Willie (pick and chose) I forgot spray paint, I guess thats the only thing i forgot to bring. I thought my roommate was gonna bring it, but no. I never made it by camp inforoo or met up w handgunhips, people from inforoo or my other friends from my town. My biggest beef was my friends wantig to leave shows early before the finales. Pearl JAm Sigur Ros Metallica, they left MMJ while I stayed, Gogol going out on the drum, and thats about it. Way more positives than negatives, I just wont make the same mistakes twice next year.

Giving Kanye the benifit of the doubt.
Also not catching anything before the Superjam friday latenight. Had I known half the crowd would leave after the first song I would have seen some of MMJ rather than worry about a decent spot.
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it
Not being able to deal with the heat. It wiped us out each day. Never made it past 12:30am. Missed brunch again! Next year I'm saying we are not coming, than we will be there. A bit of reverse psychology.
