So I called up a ton of places in my city today but was unable to procure any dry ice. My cooler is just a tiny bit smaller than a 5-day. We plan on buying meat (hamburgers and hotdogs) when we're almost there tomorrow night. My questions are do you think THE walmart will sell out of them and how long will the meat last with just a case of 38 frozen water bottles and bought ice? And how often should said ice be replenished to keep the meat good. Thanks.

Well I've been thinking about this all day. And we're probably gonna get the meat about an hour before Manchester and just check on the ice/water bottles daily and take it from there. I'm only worried the meat will spoil without us noticing.

We brought burgers last year with no dry ice or anything and had no problem. We bought ice each morning but that might have been unnecessary - the cooler was so cold it froze water bottles that hadn't been in it originally.
Don't forget lots of rolls for the burgers! Somehow we didn't bring enough last year I guess...and then one of my friends used some for sandwiches...so by the end of the weekend it was burgers between slices of bread or burgers out of bowls. Haha.
