So, I bought this little guy specifically for 'Roo: And I've got about 12GB of memory cards... I plan on shooting a lot of video and editing it into a cut down compilation vid. The link to which will, of course, be posted here post-fest.
Here's what I'm wondering: Does anyone have any ideas as towards what would be a "must" for me to get on video? Honestly, I plan on having it around my neck 24/7 and just grabbing everything interesting but I'm always looking for certain angles to pursue. Maybe do a little random interviewing with passers by and so on and so forth...
Any ideas? Questions to ask random 'Roo-ers? Let 'em roll... ;D

I'm a first timer too, so I can't tell you what to look for. I'm bringing a video camera as well. Is that an AVCHD camera, and if so what do you plan to edit it with? MPEG 4 can be a real hassle. I'm a tech specialist for a video camera manufacturer and I see lots of folks get stuck when it comes to editing tapeless video formats. It's not as quick and easy as every one thinks it is. Just giving you a heads up.
No doubt, thanks for the tip. Nope, no HD for me with this one; as my skills improve and as my cash flow expands, I plan on diving into HD in the near future. As for editing, I've been using iMovie for some time now and it hasn't given me any problems yet. Not the top of the line, but I'm still a novice and I'm in WAY over my head with Avid or FCP.
I'm pretty sure the guy who made it is a member here. It's excellent!
Just by the title I can tell it's probably pretty cool... Alas, I'm at work which means I'm on YouTube lock down. I'll have to save this until I get home. Thanks for the link!
Um, I do not want to see your two-day-old-dead fish you caught on the trip to Roo, but, yeah, just about anything roo-related will entertain me. ;D
Woh. Just kidding. There are some unpleasant conditions at roo that no one wants to look at. That's all I was talking about. For the record there probably won't be any shots of dead fish. I haven't kept one in almost four years. Perhaps a live one being released though.
