My thing is not whether I will grow a beard ( I always have one) but how long will my beard be by the end of Roo. I was going to shave it the other day into a Zappa but my wife gave me a sad, puppy dog eyed look and, well, you know what happened... I didn't.
i don't like my facial hair being very long at Bonnaroo. When i'm out there, i don't like my face to be all itchy, and i don't like dust and dirt embedded into my scruff. When my facial hair is too thick and long, it can also feel hot, grimy and sweaty out there - that's just not how i like to wonder about.
i did lol when i learned that there would be a shave tent though.
This will be my last time for the long hair and beard for a while. I will graduate and become a teacher next year and it will be easier to get a job if I am clean shaven and with short hair. I will enjoy not shaving while I can!
I'm actually planning on shaving off my Van Dyke for Roo because I don't want a funky sunburn if I decide to shave it off at some point. I'll get a good shave in for Wednesday morning and then not shave again until I go back to work the following Wednesday.
Just got my Roo buzz cut tonight, too. That way I don't have to worry the bird's nest that my hair had become.
