The 50-year-old actress suggested last week that the devastating May 12 earthquake in China could have been the result of bad karma over the government's treatment of Tibet. That prompted the founder of one of China's biggest cinema chains to say his company would not show her films in his theaters, according to a story in The Hollywood Reporter.
I set up my new shade canopy today. All is good. I need to set up the new tent. I don't have a yard, so I can't set everything up and leave it for any time. Otherwise, I'd have it all set up and maybe spend a night out there.

I think the registration fee deters a lot of people from shopping at Costco.
I don't have a membership. I just dragged a friend with me that does. I only need to shop there once or twice a year. It's not really worth it to me to join.

Bad shit always happens on my birthday. Last year I had a really incredible birthday party, met an awesome girl that went to NYU, and was just having a damn good time. At 4 a.m. my sister calls me crying, telling me that she just witnessed a murder. She went to some bonfire, and one of her friends was drunk and fucked up on Xanax and bashed a beer bottle over some guys head and slit his throat, all over a drunken argument over a girl. The guy then fell in the fire and died.
This year I had to work 12 hours and had a huge truck come in. I hurt my back a few days ago and have been getting spasms all day long. After work I went to Subway for my fancy birthday dinner, and what do you know. My car wouldn't start, and apparently its going to be a major fix.
I have no money to fix it and no way to commute between my two jobs which are in two different towns.
Muprhy's law hits me so hard sometimes. May 28th is not a good day anymore.
Sorry to be a Debbie Downer guys, but I needed to vent somewhere

Ok. A little corn down the hatch, venting here, and venting to a roommate made me feel quite a bit better.
So ummm thanks for the birthday wishes guys. I'm gonna try to enjoy the rest of my night rather than sulk about it, it could always be worse I suppose. I'm mostly just worried about not being able to get to work, but I think I'll be able to pull it off somehow.

Time has been very weird lately... i was actually sure it was 11:48 just now, yet it's 10:46.... but it's not... it's 10:41 on the inforooclock, and yesterday it was Monday, and this just keeps on happening lately, here, and elsewhere too... ??? UnstuckTime trip? In search of timeless... clocks bedamned!
Sure... but you can usually set your watch by it... though aside from schedules... who needs it! But for that matter... who reallyneeds a schedule... time thinks it's a dictator... but it's really only a tool
