after a horrible scare thinking i might not be able to make it to bonnaroo to volunteer with clean vibes this year because my ride backed out on me... i (think) i have found alternative means of actually getting to manchester.... (whew!)
BUT... as i'll be arriving by myself... probably on thursday morning... walking through the gates with all of my belongings on my back (the people driving me down aren't volunteering), i have a gut feeling that most of the volunteer camping spots are already going to be taken... andddd, more importantly than that.... well, i'm going to be by myself (for the first time at roo ever) and would REALLY like to find some chill volunteers to camp with
about me.. i'm a 21 year old girl.... study fine arts in philadelphia... just got back from a year of living in italy... i drink/occasional nicotine/green yes... i'm volunteering with clean vibes (it'll be my second time). i've been to roo twice before... 2006 & 2007.
some of the bands i reeeally want to see are MGMT, Willie Nelson, Cat Power, Iron & Wine, Jack Johnson, Sigur Ros, Phil Lesh & Friends, Aimee Mann, & Broken Social Scene (or... maybe Robert Plant & Allison Krauss... i'm torn...)
anywayyyy if you are around my age, are also volunteering... and think you might be able to leave a little space for me in your campsite... actually, i'm 6'2" so maybe... a kind of longer little space... (i'm thinking as of now i'll probably just bring a sleeping bag and a tarp and sleep outside... tents are overrated anyway...), send me a message! or you can even email me (my email is listed on my profile).
darn.. i'm realizing with this current situation i will be unable to bring exorbitant amounts of beer with me like i was originally planning... ahhhh i guess i'll have to stick to a small stash of moonshine or something. haha

PM was sent to her. Last yr Clean Vibes had their own area. I wouldn't mind saving a spot nor would anyone else. Although, I may not qualify for "someone around my age", .

I am also volunteering solo. Taking the greyhound from Toronto. I would love a camp buddy. I have a tent with lots of room. Usually end up at festivals alone. All my friends are married with kids.
