To bump this question, are set-times just guidelines for bands with enough sway on the fest. Ex. If Tiesto wants to play till sunup, will he be stopped?
For the most part the set times are usually pretty accurate, but the latenight sets are the exception to this. There will usually be at least one set a night that goes 'till sunup Friday and Saturday night.
Bravo Superfly! Fantastic schedule. I wasn't going, but now I am.
Moving Bisco to the 2AM-6AM slot completely freed me up. MMJ > Bisco makes me very, very happy. Its a pity to miss Tiesto, MSTRKRFT, and Superjam but MMJ and tDB take precedence over everything.
Battles overlap with The Sword. No Clutch. Les vs. Swell Season. Superjam. Missing Howlin' Rain because of MMJ. Having to miss Iron & Wine, sorry Sam Beam, BB & Levon have seniority. Saturday night being a latenight marathon between stages. Jakob Dylan vs. RRFB. The clusterfu*k that is Plant/Krauss vs. BSS, DCFC, & Trucks/Tedeschi. Boo freaking hoo, it happens every year, I'll get over it.

This is pretty awesome. Less conflicts than I imagined.
Thursday I can go straight from Superdrag to MGMT to Battles to Vampire Weekend. So awesome. Might catch a little bit of the Sword as well.
Friday has a few conflicts. Will have to decide what to do about Umphrey's Mcgee/Minus The Bear (I've seen both, so not a huge deal). Les Claypool and !!! sucks, not sure what I'm gonna do there. For late night, will probably have to do My Morning Jacket > Tiesto > Disco Biscuits. Bummed I'll miss Superjam.
Saturday: BB King vs. Iron & Wine vs. Levon Helm. Probably my worst conflict of the weekend. Late night will be The Coup > Sigur Ros > Ghostland. Might do Chali 2na instead of Ghostland, but we'll see.
Sunday my only conflict is BSS vs. Robert Plant.
Overall, really happy with the schedule. A few conflicts, but that's to be expected; my must sees I can see without feeling like I'm missing out on TOO much.
well, you ask me why i'm drunk all the time it levels my head and eases my mind i just walk along and stroll and sing i see better days and i do better things

I did notice that there's something else to do during Metallica... how thoughtful! I don't have any real serious conflicts this year. Wish Mastodon was a late night.

As much as I love Mastodon, I really don't think I'd deal well with them at night.
friday: DBT > Minus the Bear > !!! > Rilo Kiley > Chris Rock > Metallica > MMJ first set > Tiesto
saturday: Two Gallants > Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings > Gogol Bordello > B.B. King > Levon Helm or ZPZ > Kanye West > Pearl Jam > Sigur Ros > Ghostland Observatory
sunday: The Coup (sonic) > Abigail Washburn (sonic) > Broken Social Scene (sonic) > Robert Randolph > Solomon Burke > Broken Social Scene > end of Death Cab
The Thursday run in This Tent may in fact be the highlight of the weekend for me.
Superdrag > MGMT > Battles > Vampire Weekend, and then over to Troo Music Lounge for Royal Bangs. That is an insane lineup.
Friday afternoon definitely has the most conflicts. DBT's/Fiery Furnaces is rough, probably go with DBT's. Then it just gets crazy with people I want to see on all four main stages/tents. Claypool/Raconteurs/Swell Season/!!! all going on at the same time makes me cry. Will have to just see as much of each as I can.
Saturday isn't too bad for conflicts. Really just Ben Folds/Iron & Wine, but there should be plenty of time to check out both. Beyond excited to see the Sigur Ros late night actually in print.
Sunday honestly seems a little sparse on bands I really want to see. Could be a good thing of course as I'm sure I'll stumble across something amazing. My buddy that's coming with me is gonna cry over the Plant/Krauss and DCFC overlap.
Overall just seeing the schedule has me so stoked. And seriously that Thursday run makes me so happy.
I can't really complain. All my hopes have come true pretty much. Now my toughest decision is whether to see the entire MMJ set (which I think i'll do) or sneak back and forth from taht and Superjam.
My excitement is very high. I can't stress that enough. So many bands to see. SO MANY.
I was thinkg that as well, but I really can't see myself leaving MMJ's set. If Tom Waits is really there though, I'll cry.
thanks for your efforts and contribution, i put the link to the excel version in the OP
also, i've been working on the print problems this past week, and i think printing issues have been resolved (i hope), specifically for IE 6 and 7 ... there maybe still be some weirdness though ... alternatively there's a pdf version you can now download as well, which won't include your personal picks from the interactive version
