Sounds like he's in love to me. Not that he can't love you in a tube top too, but I think it's sweet.
Yeah cluelessmom, he is. I like how you think. Thanks.
As to the whole sexism conversation. I know that thats how many guys think, but I do firmly believe that there are most definately some out there who are different. You can call it naieve if you like, I call it quite the opposite. Ive met a few of them, and the reason I did not appreciate what you said was not for my own benefit as a woman, but for theirs. I feel it wrong to lump people into a category as large as "everyone."
Its not naive at all. Unless you're a closet Hobbes fan you share an idealists point of view with me. There's a jungle out there, but man is generally an empathetic creature who wants the best for not only himself, but those around him. I've had this exact same conversation with tons of girls and for some strange reason it always winds up with me (a male) being sexist (towards males). Thats not the case. There are alot of real genuine folks out there regardless of sex. In a nutshell, there are guys who can't help doing something like crying at a movie and there are those who are really good at faking it. Just because that dude is all sensitive and mushy when he's around you doesnt mean for a second that he's not just some box-hungry meathead when he's around his pals.
Its in the same vein as there are just some things about women that Ill never understand. You're wired slightly different than me. Its not sexist, its not an opinion, its science. Its the (over) 3 dozen neuropeptides that flow through your body and make you feel the things you feel. I never use the generalization of "everyone". I stated earlier that there are plenty of guys out there who sway from this. Now Im saying there are plenty of good actors out there aswell.

Sadly, the only naked person I saw last year was a guy hanging from the top of, I believe, This Tent on Thursday night. I can't even remember who was playing (a bit inebriated), but he climbed up the rafters and was hanging for a bit (completely naked) in front of the band while they were playing. He then managed to let go and fall about 50 feet to his demise. Anyone else lucky enough to catch this? I later heard that he was rushed to Vanderbilty hospital, but I think he turned out okay. Naked people are always welcome...
yea i saw that guy. it was thurs night during dios malos. I'm gonna guess that guy wasn't it too good of shape when he got up on stage, and was probably even worse off when he had that 40-50 ft drop
Don't worry about the pervs out-there. There's not that many of them anyway. There are so many other things to do, experience and take pictures of that I don't think many guys will even be paying that much attention. If some juvenile jackass wants to waste his Roo time drooling over you, he will wether your topless or not. Boobies are everywhere all year long....Bonnaroo is once a year!

I can't believe no one mentioned the Titty-Painting booth set up at Roo 04. Those dudes made a killing and had a blast painting tits all weekend. I saw a fair share of green, red, blue and purple breasts all weekend long. As a married dude I must agree, by all means, ladies, take your tops off.
I'm from Coffee county, and I do know that the cops have made totally nude folks put on clothes......topless , you would probly be fine.
I always wondered about the naked peoples walking across the road. I dunno if I could go naked. During the day the heat would burn Mr. Winky. I wouldn't like that too much. That and my lady would flip if I came back from roo with a burn up tallywacker.

Last year was my first 'Roo, and I didn't see a single naked person, or even a topless girl. In contrast to my experience at Woodstock '99 where there were a lot of naked people (myself included). I was actually quite surprised to not see anything of the sort last year, but was very happy to not see drunken guys yelling at girls to "show us your tits!"
I've been to the last 3 and last year i saw the least amount of nudity/bodypaint of any fest really....
I think that the Body-Paint "artists" are scaring people off. My gf was considering getting herself painted last year but, the guys at that stand were just way too CREEPY! They obviously are just getting some vicarious, school-boy, jerk-off thrill from it and when girls (or anyone, for that matter) see that, it ruins and soils any sense of anatomical freedom that people tend to lean towards at places like Bonnaroo! Fantisize, Jack-off and just be generally creepy at home! Not ROO!

Maybe so...but we definitely got a creepy "c'mere little girl" vibe from the guys we met. Like I said, we're nowhere near uptight or conservative but, we got a real "pervert" vibe from the guys we met. I would like to believe that they aren't all that way but, our first interaction made it difficult. It probably was just a couple of pervs but, DAMN! It made one hell of an impression!
No way Oatmeal I am all with you. Those guys are sickos. every year I have seen them they have been just as creepy. Like I said earlier last year they kept screaming out about how they were having a titty contest.
i saw a handful of naked people at Roo in '04, many of which were mostly covered in mud. No one really seemed to care... Personally, I was solicited by the body painting tent and they asked if I wanted to get painted for free, so saturday night i spent many many hours wandering around centeroo with my friends, topless and painted with this big glittery butterfly. It was pretty groovy, especially everyones chill attitude about it. I say, Go for it!
I'm pretty saw you. Granted my memory wasn't the best (three guesses why), but it was a topless girl with a glittery blue butterfly. They did a really nice job.
