I'm going old school. I can't help smiling when I hear American Pie by Don McLean.
You know I never really thought of Don McLean as a one hit wonder but well I can't name anything else he did right off the top of my head But 'American Pie' Is probably my favorite song of all time...garanteed I will stop doing whatever I am doing and sing it...
So you Mister get karma for reminding me of how much I love that song
I am also quite partial to Bittersweet Symphony and the Freshman by the Verve and the Verve Pipe lol.....don't hear them much but when I do it usually brings a smile to my face
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**

Thanks Purple, or is that too forward? Back at you, Ms. Fuzzystuff.
Anybody know anything about Len? I was thinking how much I've always loved Steal My Sunshine, so I peeked at their Wikipedia page. It said their early stuff sounded like My Bloody Valentine and the Descendents, which seems pretty much impossible to me.

I remember watching one of those VH-1 One Hit Wonders Top 100, so that's the only exposure to any sort of 'list' of one hit wonders. According to them Jimi Hendrix's All Along the Watchtower was a one hit wonder. I guess because it was his only Album to actually be #1 in the US, but still a terrible choice by those 'geniuses' over at VH-1.
70's - Afternoon Delight - Starland Vocal Band 80's - Walking on Sunshine - Katrina and the Waves 90's - MMM MMM MMM MMM - Crash Test Dummies 00's - Breathless - The Corrs
I love all of these songs!! I was a fan of The Corrs when I was in high school (late 90s)... a friend of mine from New Zealand recommended them. They have a wicked awsome cover of Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams".
Haha. Thank you! He should be at Bonnaroo if we ever get a Creepy Tent.
Actually, The Mighty Boosh (the sketch comedy show the Old Gregg skits are from) does a live show, which I've heard is pretty funny. I dunno, it could be fun for the comedy tent, but I'm not sure if it would have a very wide appeal over here in America.
