Yay for a person who crossed the abyss and came back.
What was possibly the most awful experience of my life involving another person has evolved into something TRULY positive. Sometimes a person has to go to the very edge of the abyss to realize how much beauty and joy surrounds them. Their is something profoundly and undeniably true about the initiation ritual for most mystery schools where the candidate must die in order to be reborn.
I just learned that my latest and greatest thesis draft didn't get completely sh*t on (as every other draft has). It is getting shipped out to my committee and we are finally scheduling a defense date. I think this is finally it; this M.S. degree is about to be in the bag. I'll be carpet bombing this page when the day finally comes. Stay tuned...
Defended this sh*t on Friday! Will get the M.S. in the mail right after the new year. I never thought this day would come.
I didn't know if Maggie and I were going to be able to make Roo our 7th next year due to finances, but we just won 2 free tickets via the Bonnaroo 365 Tour. So... BONNNNAAROOOOOO!!!

Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
For some reason, I thought I had a 3-4 page paper due tomorrow in one of my classes. I thought this all week and planned on spending tonight working on it and half-ass studying for my psych test tomorrow morning. Turns out the paper isn't due until next Thursday so I feel like I have so much more time tonight yippie!
I also got a call for a job that can potentially last me until I go to grad school in two years! (it's not the best job but a stable job is a stable job)
I just got back from the Bonnaroo 365 White Denim show and they had a contest for people in Bonnaroo shirts to win free Bonnaroo tickets. I ran up to the front, took my shirt off, and showed them my tattoo of the Bonnaroo symbol. I just won two free tickets to BONNAROO

Hell yeah! I think that makes 6 roosters who already have tickets

We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

It was half and half. I turned my head for a European style kiss.
He loved my shoes, loved my coat, took pictures of my dress, asked me to come to some more shows. He was soooo nice. John is beyond nice as well. What a swell night.

And then I went for a killer hike in WV with a stream side picnic of foie gras and creme fraiche on crackers and a hidden waterfall. Beyond the beyond of the greatest weekend I've had in like, forever.

Wooo all the coolest people drive manual Ford Focuses. Is it candy apple red? Because then you are on a whole other level of cool!
Edited because after re-reading I think I came off as sarcastic, but I am serious. I drive a candy apple red, manual, Focus and I love it. I've had it for almost 3 years and I have had zero problems with it.
