So many Yays! I was able to hang out with an AMAZING group of inforooers this weekend at Moogfest. Mayo made us amazing Panda hoods which helped us dress up everyday, find each other, and was an easy way to meet new friends. There were so many great people who I got to meet/hug/dance/hang with over the weekend, I have the best friends though they live many miles away. I just might be going to Bear Creek Festival in 2 weeks. The great, beautiful, kind Popsicle Sarah is giving me one of the tickets she won so I get to hang with her, Zen, Scrog, Sugarhigh, and many other Roosters I haven't met yet. On her Birthday, she gave me a ticket so I can go with her to a beautiful festival. Yup I have some amazing friends And finally a week ago I was checking to see if anyone had a used Wii for sale and who messages me but Chico offering to give me his. Tonight when we got home from Moog, there it was with a fantastic purple cape on top. My kids went wild with excitement. Yup, again I have some amazing friends
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

How perfect: The SF Giants, whose colors are orange and black, having a World Series victory parade on Halloween in San Francisco (a city that takes Halloween very seriously). You had the standard stuff like players waving from convertibles, confetti, and little kids on their parents' shoulders. But you also had the only-in-San Francisco aspects: like a Chinese dragon parade and drag queens on high heels that almost qualify as stilts. It also seems to me that our players don't follow the same grooming standards as the players on other teams.
That's great, Jeff!! I don't crazy follow baseball, but my high school team's colors were orange and black so I LOVE IT! Halloween is pretty amazing, too.

YAY for everyone (finally) making it home from Asheville and (as far as I know) no Inforoosters or their loved ones sustaining any major damage or injury from the storm. I've still got to get up to my house in north Georgia and eyeball it, so hopefully I haven't jinxed anything with that comment...apparently there were some high winds out there.
and YAY for fall sunrises and sunsets in which the colors are so vivid. Just makes me want to sit around and try to write poetry.

Clinched a regular season championship and a number one seed for the Horizon League tournament tonight! Two more wins and we make the NCAA tournament for the first time in 15 years.
