Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

So, my employer is generally strict with hours, and making sure we do only what's scheduled and not "milk the clock."
I was in a meeting with the dept talking about a new project I'm working on and my boss says the best thing to me:
"this project and the deadline are important, so starting right now I DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR TIMECARD, come in on saturdays, stay after on the weekdays, if you feel like you are running out of time."
overtime = $$$$$$$ = more shows and fests = YAYYYYYY!!!!

I emailed the professor who got assigned to my Calc section for this fall. 1) He is a grad student but has excellent rating on ratemyprofessor (including the highest easiness rating) 2) He said he doesn't allow graphing calculators. Savings = $40. 3) He said the book is not needed because he gives pdf handouts of the books sections you go over. Savings = $90 4) He is fine with me taking time off for work but suggested I skip the one in October (right after Moog) due to that being a time the class is going over difficult material.
Semi-surprise DKM set, half hour or so, not long ago.
Acoustic DKM at that. For everyone reading- they NEVER produced any kind of schedule. We had no idea who was going on where and when. We weren't even sure if Dropkick was playing at the festival at all or just the after party (Hence LD's "semi-surprise" statement). SO odd.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

My baby daughter turned 21 today. We took her and a bunch of her friends out for sushi and drinks. She shouldn't have mixed tequila, beer, sake, and whatever else she drank when I wasn't paying attention. But those are lessons you have to learn the hard way. And now shes safe at home.

Tonight dilla, dale and I went to Camden yard to see a baseball game. I worked an overnight last night and when I woke up this afternoon dale and dilla were slapping a bag of wine around.... Long story short we got to the game, dale can almost stand under his own fruition and as we are walking across the deck dale looses his pants... He's commando... Shock and awe on everyone's faces and YAY!
As many of you know, July was the roughest month I've endured in many years: emotionally, fiscally, physically, and professionally. Life pushed me closer to the brink than I'm comfortable admitting. If it hadn't been for my "family of choice" I would not have survived it.
Our unofficial motto seems to be "We're family; taking care of each other is what WE do." I've helped other Inforoosters before, but I've never been on the receiving end of such overwhelming encouragement and support before. Having a network of concerned friends across the country who love you and keep you glued together when you're falling apart is an incredible blessing.
So...
YAY for feeling stress-free for the first time in a lonnnng time. YAY for friends who help you weather Life's storms. YAY for Inforoo being a family full of such awesome people!!!
