Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
After this afternoon I needed a YAY. So, for those of you that photograph shows and those that have not.....it is pretty tedious to get a photo pass sometimes. Sometimes you need to email the management sometimes their press person. Sometime they do not respond until last minute....if at all. I sat down this morning to look at upcoming shows in the area and sent out a few emails.
Got photo passes for FOUR shows in a matter of hours....that never happens!
Emancipator tomorrow night, Conspirator on the 29th, Phosphorescent the 30th, and Umphrey's McGee on the 31st.
YAY
Can't wait to see what you get!
Funny how both bands used minimal lighting but had such a huge impact on my photos. The Lights for Donna the Buffalo were challenging to say the least. While Rusted Root did not have a huge light setup either but I am extremely happy with how they tuned out.
So some of you have had the chance to meet the lovely Heather - Newport, Freefest, some other stuff up this way. She was once referred to by an Inforooster as "Mrs. LD".
Two years ago today (the 26th, so I guess now it's technically yesterday), I first met Heather. I'm just incredibly happy to have her in my life. She's a very special lady, and I'm lucky to be able to have her as a girlfriend.
YAY for 2014: wedding to G, some great fest lineups (so far: definitely ROO + MOEMS, possibly Shaky Knees, still looking at everything else but I am determined to see Outkast somewhere!), and nothing but love! I have been an inforoo slacker lately but the wedding is happening March 15th... if you are interested in coming to the reception and I haven't been in touch with you yet, please PM me your address.
side note: it's hard to believe it was just under a year ago that I joined this board- I never would have imagined how much it would change my life! I have met so many amazing people, including of course the love of my life (I know, I will keep the gushing to a minimum), and really found "my people" in this community of music lovers that is so much more than just a festival forum. love you all!

Got a late DJ spot (aka playing 1 AM instead of before. Louisville is boring until 1 or 2 AM) tonight that I'm super stoked for. And then this weekend I get to play at the monthly techno event, which is always my favorite. Gonna be a good week.

going home to wv this weekend coincides with one of the nieces' bball games. i'm pretty excited because i haven't been to one of hers this year, and from what i've heard she's vicious (at 9 years old). before one of her games she asked her dad not to clip her nails until after so she could scratch the other kids. ahahahahaha!

I'm fomenting technological revolution and new ideas pretty much everywhere I go at work. Its going to either get me promoted or fired. I'm keeping it in the YAY column for now.
Also, I came up with a really solid textbook concept and a friend who's a published, tenured professor is leading me thru the development process. This could be a very interesting turn of career.
Had to have my steering rack replaced the other day. Completely forgot until after the work was done that I purchased a warranty with this car. Never had a warranty on a car before, so didn't even think about it!
Anyways, just contacted the warranty company to see if they'd reimburse me, and they approved it! They technically didn't have to since I had the work done before they authorized it, but they hooked me up. $1080 back in the bank account! And considering the warranty cost me less then that, it's already paid for itself

YAY!
i love that kinda shiz! this past summer my transmission went out on my while i was on vacation in florida. i was sick about the whole thing until the mechanic called the dealership and found out that they'd extended the cvt warranty on my model to 120k. my car was at 112k. thank you nissan, and thank you car for breaking down just in time!
Tickets for a certain band (mostly hated around here) went on sale this morning.
When I checked at 10, best avail search came back for Pit 3. Last time I pitted something, I got all panicked and freaked out and needed to retreat. So I figure I get something in the lower bowl. Next search: section 100 (low section, far right side). Wanted something a little more centered, took a gamble. Waited 8 minutes on the next search: landed Pit 1. Ah screw it, pit it is.
I'm stunned I got a Pit ticket after 10 minutes on such a high demand band. Anyone else looking at the time under the pavillion probably got way in the back or partial view being up against the edges.
