Down Taken off Lineup

i could be wrong but the lineup now has 75 and im pretty sure it was 76. i noticed the bottom of the lineup ends in a different spot too. anyone know who was taken off?

I hope they add Mastodon to replace them. They are in Europe with Metallica shortly after 'Roo, but maybe they can swing a Thurs or Friday show. I would love to see them.

I don't mind when this kind of stuff happens because I understand that when you book 100 bands, one of them is bound to pull out on you. However, I think it would be courteous if they at least told us that it happened. It is really lame to have to figure out for ourselves what bands get pulled from the line-up. Just send out a brief press release or something . . . but no, like so many of their problems, Superfly just ignores this stuff and pretends we don't notice.

they are still on the poster but not on the artist page i wonder if they're doing web maintenance and just screwed up

It is never good when something like this happens, and I wish I could give you a rational explanation as to why Down would be pulled from the line-up, but I can't. Maybe they will pull a move out of the 2007 playbook and include them in an artist addition tomorrow (a la The Roots).

Im glad i think down and especially phil anselmo are tooo abrasive for my own roo taste, but then again it wouldnt of mattered if they were there or not to me....so needless to say im sorry to all the down fans...but hey there is always ozfest to look forward to...J/k
