I cant tell you about the shuttle but Tenting only is the place to be. The walk to the arch is literally 2mins it can be a little crowded but everywhere is, I also met lots of cool people in tenting only

From the Roo website:
Official Bonnaroo Express Airport Shuttle No need to worry about getting from Nashville Airport to Bonnaroo. The Bonnaroo Shuttle will take you into Bonnaroo, already wrist-banded, and drop you at a prime camping location close to the main stage and Centeroo. It will pick you up at the same location where you were dropped starting early morning on Monday, June 18.
The shuttle will operate on Thursday, June 14 and Friday, June 15 with frequent departures throughout the day. All returns will be on Monday, June 18 beginning early in the morning.
Doesn't mention cost.

you can bring whatever you want on the shuttle! but remember you'll also have to carry it over to tent only, so i wouldn't go overboard! if you're flying in you definitely won't have more than what would fit in their luggage storage area under the bus (it's like a big ass coach one!)
last year it was $55 i believe, roundtrip, total bargain
i carried two 50+ lb bags last year, and although tent only is pretty close, i would definitely pack lighter if i had to do it again, lol. that TN sun is killer! and i don't even want to think of what it would be like carrying that much in the rain/mud, oof.
hope i didn't scare you, it's really a great service they provide and tent only is AWESOME!!!!!

i took the shuttle last year too, good deal and it was sweet to go right in, bypassing the huge line (that i waited in for 6 hours the year before).
and i agree with alisa - pack light!!!! last year i left most of the stuff that i brought cause it was hell bringing it down. hopefully someone ended up with a new shade tend and camp chairs (but not the leaky tend or the flat air mattress!)

I agree with the postings above, you're more likely to be limited by the airline than by the shuttle driver. They just throw it all in the cargo hold under the bus.
One tiny word of caution - my shuttle driver in '05 came in the wrong entrance and couldn't turn around so we got dropped quite a way from tent only and had to carry it all. I was fine as I kept it all to one backpack, but others were struggling.

FYI - from the travel website.........After purchasing your air tickets you will be charged an additinal $50 for the roundtrip bonnaroo airport shuttle
Hell I might just drive to the airport and take the shuttle to tent only

This year will be my first Bonnaroo and I'll be flying in from California. The airport shuttle sounds like the way to go but I am curious if there will be any way or time to stop off and buy food and supplies for the fest. Dose any one with experience know about this? Can you buy everything you need once you get to there?

$60 roundtrip if you book in advance, $70 walk-up purchase. I can't seem to find the schedule, but I remember that it runs about once an hour, sometimes once every hour and a half, and I think there are also a couple points during the day when it runs every half an hour. Hope this helps.
It does suck that taking the shuttle makes me ineligible for the VIP carpool contest, though.

hell yeah, that's what i was thinking. i'm wanting to camp in tent only anyways, and i'm like 10 minutes from the airport. it would def be an easier way to get in. i'm definitely considering this, the only thing is not being able to bring in enough supplies that i could physically carry (like water & stuff). hmmmm.....

I'm driving in early thurs morn to roo. It will be my first roo and my two friends and I have a ton of Leno. 2 tents, shade tent, coolers, beer, cornhole set, clothes, etc. Does anyone know where the tent only people park and how far the distance is from where we'd be parking and to where the actual tent only site is? We obviously dont want to make multiple trips but im not so sure that's possible. We were thinking about bringin some handtrucks with us to hopefully make it in one trip. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm driving and this year I bought a fullsize dolly with big rubber wheels. I'm making that long ass walk only once!! It was murder last year - - but worth it.
Of course once I'm done with it I will freely loan it out
