I'm a bit worried about this too. My husband goes on 'strike alert' at his job April 1st through all summer. He's hoping it will be resolved quickly. He can technically go on a vacation but if he gets called he has to report back in 24 hrs.
He claims if they call while on our way to Roo he's not answering the phone!
He's actually not in the union. He's in management but if the union strikes they have to do those jobs until it's resolved. The whole thing is a disaster and they go through this every 5 yrs.
Its real easy to sell your ticket. Just take like 20 to 30 off the total price or ask for the cost of Tier 1 or 2 pricing if you buy them at tier 3 or 4
I'm in the same boat as the OP. I really want to go, but all of my friends who were going with me have backed out or probably will back out. I'm considering buying a ticket and then if everything falls through, selling it. I just hope I don't get left out to dry.....
I put mine on craigslist and had it sold that same day. I asked for face of the highest tier and the girl gave me an extra $20. I still had people contacting me afterwards.
When the fest sells out, it isn't hard to get rid of a ticket.
