I heard from superfurryanimal that the lines coming into the arch went all the way down Shakedown, and down by the VIP fence - they had at least a 45-min wait.
Today, I went thru the other GA entrance by the ferris wheel w/Scrog around 4pm and we walked right thru, no wait. Beats me why the line was quacked six ways from Sunday last nite...
I haven't been frisked once...but the smackdown (er, sanctioned groping) was brutal last nite for the late shows. Chicks would stick their hands into guys' shorts EVEN AFTER THEY'D EMPTIED THEIR POCKETS! Surprisingly, you didn't hear too many complaints from the fellas!

I never got searched that bad because I look super-legit but they had my wife dump her entire bag and empty her pockets on Saturday. They were still doing thorough searches on Sunday when they usually just wave people through.
What I saw every time I went in was a long line at the first few stalls and no waiting at the far stalls. I never understand that but see it all the time.

i laughed at everyone foriming lines to get in. my group always walked straight up to the front. also people waiting in line for the porta potty -- are you that dumb to wait if you really have to go. i never waited. it's a festival, fuck everyone.

i was in tent only so we stayed in the shade drinking and people watching. the line did get fucking crazy. we saw it go down to the portos a few times but we heard it was find by the ferris wheel so if we wanted to go in early we'd walk a little farther and wait no more than 5 minutes.
same thing with the port o potties. youd see a crazy line and then walk around to a side entrance and see 5 people waiting.
people just didnt do any recon. theyd see a line, wait and moan about it instead of investigating.

I got in pretty quickly and the security guys would usually greet me, Hell one gave me a high five< and hardly ever frisked me. Last year, I got searched like a hitman going into an FBI meeting.

alot of time that line looked just as long and appeared to move even slower.

I got caught in that line on Friday — it stretched way down Shakedown Street about halfway to Bushy Branch. Fortunately it was moving OK and we didn't waste that much time.
Y'all are right, though. The other entrance was clearly marked on the maps.
