I know next to nothing about them, but it sounds like they're a pretty big get. I don't know, I just tend to go high on where jam bands will be placed since I don't know anything about them and don't want to short-change them.
Actually, just replace The Word with The Avett Brothers. Still pretty much the same in my eyes.

i would most likely guess around 20 or so. they dont do a ton of shows together. according to wiki the toured in 2001 and 2007/2008 and besides that have played Roo in 2005 and Jam Cruise in 2010. So its a pretty big get.
Wow guys, I have a feeling this lineup may beat 2009.
It depends on how many from the group of The Shins, Bon Iver, Paul Simon, The Beach Boys, Leonard Cohen, Eddie Vedder and Jack White are there. For instance, even though we don't know a whole lot about whether any of those artists will be there, most mocks have like 5 of those 6 artists there, but in reality we'll probably only get 3 or 4 of them.
Even though most of us expect both The Shins and Bon Iver to be there, I bet one of them isn't, I bet only one of Paul Simon and Beach Boys will be there (as most mocks actually reflect), and I bet only one will be there from the group of Cohen, Vedder, and Jack White (MAYBE two, maybe Vedder and Jack White).
Still, though, that'd make for a top couple lines of, say: Radiohead*RHCP*Phish*Beach Boys*Adele*Jack White*Drake*The Shins*The Roots*The Avett Brothers. Still a hell of a top 10, but I don't know if it tops 2009. Now, if we DO get 5 of those artists from that list, that would put this lineup over the top. So it really depends on that second-tier group of big names that we don't know about yet.
I think of that list, we're NOT gonna get The Shins. Just a feeling, though. I feel like Bon Iver will be there though. I wasn't making that concrete of a statement just yet, I don't want to get myself tooooo excited, I just think with Radiohead topping off the bill, names like Jack White, Bon Iver, The Word, possibly in the top 10-15, and the undercard shaping up so nicely, with The Antlers, Battles, Mogwai (at least one of which I'm sure will get a late night), this is going to be one hell of a lineup. Just with the names we have confirmed/semi-confirmed I'm already giddy with excitement.

You're breaking my heart, MC. I really, reeeeeeeeally wanna see The Shins on the lineup. Not as badly as I wanna see The Beach Boys on there, but still pretty badly.
The Swell Season are out but have a very friendly agent:
This is an example of the kind of personalized email I've gotten back from a lot of agents. It's ones like these that make me think most of the denials I'm hearing are accurate. That being said, some are just a simple no or without any elaboration, so it's possible a few names I've listed as denied will show up on the poster. But for the most part I feel confident in virtually all of the confirm/denies I'm listing for you guys. I feel like an agent is more likely to just ifnore my email than respond with a false no. Again, I appreciate the thanks I've gotten for doing this.
and quack you to whoever monday'd me. sorry for sharing information?
That was me on accident. I realized I hadn't given you a Friday for all your work, so went to give you one but somehow spaced out and gave you a Monday. I tried to give you a Friday right away to fix that, but it told me I have to wait an hour. I'll Friday you soon, dude!
This definitely bums me out. I'm still hoping that Glen does a solo show at Bonnaroo though. He is touring with Eddie Vedder right now previewing his upcoming solo album.
I think they will be top 20 for sure. Robert Randolph, John Medeski and the North Mississippi Allstars?!?! C'mon...thats a talented group of doods....a must see for me!
That's too bad. With Dawes confirmed and Diamond Rugs expected to be there (along with the Black Lips)... I am going to guess that Delta Spirit is out and Dead Confederate is in... Deer Tick also a possibility.
