Ashley Capps will not friend me on Facebook so I can ask him! I think it was the waterboarding comment on here. I just want to know the lineup and have a new friend is that to much to ask?
1-1-12 Bassnectar NYE SHOW! 1-21-12 G. Love and Special Sauce 3-1-12 Radiohead 3-9-12 Experience Hendrix 5-15-12 Jack White @ The Ryman 6-7-12 Bonnaroo 6-19-12 Roger Waters presents "THE WALL" 7-7-12 Ringo Starr's 72nd Birthday Party Extravaganza at the Ryman
i wouldnt be surprised if that "lineup drop" comment that agent made about it being sometime next week has some validity to it.
what made start to think we'd be getting ourlineup early this year is the fact that insider has already confirmed 3 headliners. if you go back to insiders posts years prior, all of her revelations have occured about one week before lineup drop. well...... insider last did confirming at the end of last week.... so..... that leads me to believe lineup=soon.
Insider doesnt seem to know more than she knows, if that makes sense. I don't think she knows much that she isnt telling us. She doesnt know if Phish is 1 or 2 sets, and likely doesnt know the other headliners either. I also don't know if them ironing out the top 3 headliners earlier changes anything because they still need to sign the line 2-5 acts, which are essential to a good undercard. I hope its this week. It would make sense if they released same day as Sasquatch or soon after to win over some the people deciding between the two. 2/14 sounds plausible too, though.

Yeah Bonnaroo won't be announcing the lineup this week. They always, always, always make an announcement of when they're going to announce it usually a week or two before.

I'm guessing we will get the e-mail Friday Feb 3rd, and lineup drop will be Tuesday, Feb 7th.
Although, I have been silently hoping that they are playing Primavera Thursday, and would be able to make it over here for a Saturday night late night set...

I'm pretty sure a lot of these e-mails are going to the same handful of companies/agencies. We may've caught them off guard before to get a few confirmations, but I think by now these agents will be smart enough to deny, deny, deny. Either that or just ignore the e-mail. Either way, I think this strategy has probably run its course.
Also, I still think the lineup won't be coming until 2/14. We'll see, though.

A lot of mine are out to artist's managers who have all been different and actually a lot of different agencies. Some are the same agency but different agents within them. I've doubled up on a few but for the most part it's still unique people. I think most emails will be ignored, but there should be more info to squeeze out still. We'll find out the accuracy of the info on lineup day, but I don't think I've been duped yet.

Well...I will say that at least one artist/agent who recently gave you a flat "no" gave me a very different response.
Point is, I think there's a decent chance they're f*cking around with us (or whoever sends these kinds of Bonnaroo/Sasquatch-related e-mails) by now.

Yeah. Maybe it's my slim hope of Yeasayer playing somehow but the agent changed from a positive response to a flat out no overnight. I emailed him from a different address and threw in the yeasayer mention when asking about zola jesus. He responded with: "Why do you ask? I got like 5 emails about this overnight" and then he said "nah neither will be there" in his next email.
I hope for the sake of zola jesus and/or yeasayer being there that he is fucking with us.
