Friday most definitely.
Saturday could've taken the cake if TMV would've been late night from 2:00-4:00 and NIN from 12:00-2:00... and of Montreal earlier in the day... and The Decemberits not conflicting with Wilco. that would make it better.
Saturday, with Friday close behind. Alejandro Escovedo --> Triumph or Heartless Bastards --> bit of Booker T --> Bon Iver --> Del McCoury --> Wilco --> Bruce --> NIN = golden.
I think Friday is one of the most amazing days Roo has had. The African tent in and of itself is a monster music festival. You are sleeping if you don't catch something going on in that tent at some point in the day. Then there is all of the indie goodness, culminating in the TVOTR/Santigold/Grizzly Bear confilict (while legend King Sunny Ade plays in the African tent). And the David Byrne tent. And David Byrne vs. Beasties. And then Phish plays their first Bonnaroo set, late night, with some other appealing options going on at the same time and followed by three electronic/dance options going until dawn for sure.
I will get some sleep at a reasonable hour on Thursday and sleep in as long as I need to on Saturday to max out my Friday.

Friday. Katzenjammer>Kaki King>part of Grace Potter>Galactic>YYY>Al Green>Beasties>Phish>then I'll probably die from exhaustion because Thursday is even busier. June cannot come soon enough.

friday. all because of animal collective-yeah yeah yeahs-tv on the radio on one stage and one after another, and then beastie boys and public enemy/crystal castles!
Friday I'll be seeing (provided I'm not working at the time):
Toubab Krewe > The Dirty Projectors > Animal Collective > Galactic > Yeah Yeah Yeahs > TV on the Radio > Beastie Boys > David Byrne > Phish > Public Enemy > Girl Talk
EDIT: Woot! This is post #2000!

I'm shocked that I'm picking the day that Phish isn't playing, but I think I've gotta say saturday. There's just so much I want to see saturday from start to finish, I don't know what I'm gonna do. That said, I'm very happy all around. If I could have voted for all three days I would have.

Sunday is pretty weak compared to Friday and Saturday, but it will be a nice end to my Bonnaroo. Ted Leo --> Wandering --> Andrew Bird --> Band of Horses --> Tail end of Neko Case -->Phish.
I wish I could see a whole Neko Case set but Band of Horses takes precedence.
Andrew Bird and Band of Horses is one of my favorite one two punches of the festival, and are pretty much the perfect relaxing Sunday afternoon bands.

heh ka mai we have similar plans, thursday i might find myself in the comedy tent at the end of the night to relax/wind down, friday is balls to the wall, then saturday i dont really plan on seeing a show until the sun goes down (well not really, ill see shows but i expect to be a useless blob in the sun until i can chemically boost myself) then sunday is essentially waiting for Phish to get back on the stage, with a sweet Snoop Dogg set to preload myself.
